Starting their journey in a divided Germany, these vintage 1950s pendant lights witnessed the politically tense years of the DDR during the Cold War. Manufactured by AKA Electrics, the state-run umbrella company of the Eastern Bloc, the conical shades feature a textured finish with a distinctive Bakelite gallery and manufacturer’s labels. Fantastic feature lights for hotel lobbies, lounges, restaurants and bars. Part of The Retreat Collection in collaboration with skinflint.
