Apu is the Finnish word for help – because the occasional tables are on hand to help. Designer Hanna Ehlers is half-Finnish and likes to give her designs Finnish names. The occasional tables are a hybrid of table, plate and vase. Apu adds a further member to the family of pure materials used at Zeitraum: white utility pottery, with a new function and a new aesthetic.
