Governance
In the process of building an Environmental Management System which will enable them to identify the areas of greatest impact and constantly improve on these.
Materials
Products are designed with durability and longevity in mind followed by reusability and recyclability. Using mechanical fixings instead of welding enables parts to be replaced easily in the unlikely event of damage, prolonging the life of the product. At the end of life, if the product cannot be reused or repurposed it can be easily broken down for recycling.
Production
Solar panels have been installed at South London HQ and they have installed a waste wood burning furnace to heat their manufacturing facility in East London.
Aim to reduce, reuse or recycle 100% of packaging by the end of
2020. Limit the amount of plastics in packaging and are researching
environmentally friendly alternatives.
