All the wood used in creating our products is from certified sustainable sources. They strive to source our materials and services from the closest possible distance from our workshop, not only to reduce the carbon foot print but also to ensure we are supporting the local economy and choosing suppliers that share our values and ethos when it comes to protecting and preserving our environment. This is closely balanced with choosing the most sustainable materials from the most sustainable suppliers.
Production
Tom Raffield patronize the last upright wool mill in the UK, who create a sustainable, recyclable material and who support individual UK farms that demonstrate best farming practices.
Products are manufactured in a BREEAM Excellent factory unit.
They continuously asses their products and how they are packaged, ackaging is now 99.99% plastic free with the last component of plastic due to be abolished within 9 months. All the other packaging is both recyclable and decomposable.

Tom Raffield pride themselves on creating and growing a business that provides highly skilled positions in a rural part of the UK, they also have an apprenticeship scheme and have two apprentices in the workshop at present
