Nikari has worked to bring out the best of wood in contemporary furniture for over 50 years, since its establishment in 1967. Over the years, long-lasting sustainable furniture has been built in the oldest machinery workshop in Finland. Based on the original concept of merging the Finnish craftmanship tradition with modern design, the studio and manufacturer has acquired a celebrated reputation for design.
Taking responsibility for the environmental impacts of the business is at the heart of Nikari and as of today their head office, studio and workshop are using solely next generation renewable energy from the hydro power plant located next to their building.
