Creating an office for architects is no mean feat, and Dodds & Shute were enthused to take up the challenge. The brief was to create a functional office with a hospitality feel. Bespoke rugs and lighting helped to bring a cosy touch to the reception spaces, whilst private work and call spaces have sheepskin upholstery. Sustainability was also front of mind for the project. Vitra Unix chairs were re-upholstered for the Town Hall meeting room, and Fritz Hansen Series 7 chairs were repainted, giving them a new lease of life in the kitchen. Dining table tops are Foresso, made of waste wood sourced from trees felled in Britain and hand finished in Birmingham.
